Own your expectations – for when you own them, you can see them for what they are: judgments. These expectations are the “should” you’ve put on someone else. And when someone does what you think they “should” it doesn’t mean that your expectations were fulfilled or that your judgments will disappear. It simply means that in that moment – they made a choice that you liked. Own the expectations – take responsibility for you putting your judgment on another – so that you can let it go and allow them to navigate their own path of growth and spirit.
